SIP Trunk Nigeria — +234 Termination & DID Numbers
Nigerian traffic is overwhelmingly mobile: subscriber numbers have 10 digits after the 0, in ranges such as 080x, 081x, 070x and 090x, and the NCC links every SIM to a national identity number. Termination quality varies a lot by route, which makes ASR and ACD monitoring especially important.
Overview
Routing calls to Nigeria
Most Nigeria traffic we see ends in Lagos, Abuja and Kano, Ibadan and Port Harcourt. Each +234 prefix is mapped to at least two carriers, and we watch ASR, ACD and PDD per prefix so a degrading route is replaced before your agents notice.
Numbering in Nigeria is managed by NCC. We terminate to geographic, mobile and toll-free ranges and price each one separately on the rate sheet. Inside the country, numbers are dialled with a 0 trunk prefix. Strip it before you send the call, and send 234 followed by the national number.
Some Nigeria number ranges can be activated with basic company details, while others need proof of address. Tell us the city and number type, and we will confirm what is needed before you order.
