Toll-free numbers
International Toll-Free Numbers, Delivered over SIP
Let customers call you for free from inside their own country. Calls land on your SIP trunk like any other DID. You pay a per-minute inbound rate that depends on whether the caller is on a fixed line or a mobile.

Cost
What drives the inbound rate
With a toll-free number you carry the cost of the call. The rate is set by the network the caller is on: calls from mobiles usually cost more than calls from fixed lines.
If most of your callers are on mobiles, a local geographic number can be cheaper to run. Compare both in toll-free vs local numbers.
Fixed origin
Lower per-minute inbound rate.Mobile origin
Higher rate, set by the mobile operator.Payphone / special
Some origins are blocked or charged separately.Billing
Deducted from the same prepaid balance.
Fraud controls
Inbound fraud is your bill
Because you pay per inbound minute, pumped traffic to a toll-free number costs you money.

FAQ
Toll-free questions
Who pays for a toll-free call?
You do. The caller pays nothing, or a small amount on some mobile plans, and you pay a per-minute inbound rate that depends on where the call comes from.
Why does a call from a mobile cost more?
Mobile operators charge more to originate toll-free calls than fixed operators. That cost is passed through as a higher inbound rate for mobile-origin calls.
Can callers from other countries reach my toll-free number?
Usually not. Domestic toll-free numbers are normally reachable only from inside the country. For multiple countries, use one number per country.
Is KYC needed for toll-free numbers?
In many countries, yes. The requirements are often similar to geographic numbers. We confirm them before activation.
