SIP Trunk Spain — +34 Termination & DID Numbers
Spanish numbers are a fixed nine digits with no trunk prefix: landlines begin with 8 or 9 and mobiles with 6 or 7. Since the 2023 telecoms law, unsolicited commercial calls need prior consent, which has changed how outbound teams in Spain work.
Overview
Routing calls to Spain
Most Spain traffic we see ends in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and Málaga. Each +34 prefix is mapped to at least two carriers, and we watch ASR, ACD and PDD per prefix so a degrading route is replaced before your agents notice.
CNMC sets the Spain numbering plan, and our prefix tables follow it closely. Supported number types: geographic, national, mobile and toll-free. There is no trunk prefix to strip: send 34 followed by the national number as written.
For inbound numbers in Spain, plan on paperwork: proof of address and company or identity documents are usually required before a DID goes live. Termination needs no documents beyond normal account checks.
